Who is Praful Hinge?
Praful Hinge is a 24-year-old right-arm seamer from Vidarbha. He made it to their senior red-ball team in the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy, and has played 10 games, but is far less experienced in the shortest format. His only other T20 appearance came in the 2025-26 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he opened the bowling with Umesh Yadav.
Brought by SRH for INR 30 lakh only. Hinge started his career at the age of 13, convincing his father to let him join a cricket academy. Known to be a hit-the-deck bowler, Hinge has suffered a back injury in the past. At the academy, he is known to have worked with Australia great Glenn McGrath, and found support in Varun Aaron, SRH’s pace bowling coach.
Hinge was one of the standout bowlers in the 2025 Vidarbha Pro T20 League, taking eight wickets in six games at 25.75, at an economy of under 9, playing his part in NECO Master Blaster’s title win.

Speaking after the game, Hinge revealed he had manifested his dream debut: “Last year, I had written it somewhere that I will take four or five wickets on my debut”. He exactly took 4 important wickets and 3 wickets in the first over and broke a record in IPL history of taking 3 wickets in the first over. He has proved that hard work always paid off.
Who is Sakib Hussian?
Sakib Hussian took 4 important wickets along with Praful Hinge and SRH won the game and took 2 important points. Kavya Maran looked very happy and emotional with a dream debut of Hinge and Hussain.
Sakib who shared the new ball with Hinge, came in as an Impact Sub for Travis Head. He was bought by SRH for INR 30 lakh, his base price. Two years ago, he was picked by KKR for INR 20 lakh but did not get a game. Both Hinge and Sakib bough at their base price of 30 Lakh but they have proved their worth more than that by taking wickets.
He came from Gopalganj, Bihar, with his father, a farmer, being the sole breadwinner. Hussain wanted to join the army but was pushed into playing local tennis-ball cricket. As Hussain’s career took off, his family faced financial hardship. His mother even sold her jewellery so he could buy his first pair of spikes.
The 21-year-old has represented Bihar in first-class and T20 cricket so far, having made his senior debut back in the 2022/23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. At age 17, his debut didn’t go to plan; he conceded 27 runs in two overs. He starred in their final game of that season, taking four wickets against Gujarat. Following that, he was called up to be a nets bowler for CSK.
Hussain impressed in a 2024-25 Ranji Trophy game against Punjab, taking four wickets in a heavy innings defeat. Last year, against Arunachal Pradesh, he took a ten-wicket match haul.
