Rohit Sharma to Retire After 3rd ODI? Sitanshu Kotak Breaks Silence

Rohit Sharma is a class player, and he is willing to play 2027 World Cup. Rohit has already retired from Test cricket and T20.
Rohit Sharma is a great leader and India reached to the final of 2023 ODI World Cup under his leadership and won T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy.
After completion of the second ODI against England, rumors are being spread of his retirement. Sitanshu Kotak, Indian Batting coach has given some relief by saying there is no pressure on Rohit Sharma.
“I don’t think a player as big as Rohit can feel the pressure,” Kotak said, addressing the media after the Cardiff game.
“He’s too good a player to feel that. Yes he hasn’t scored in two games. I don’t think that makes any difference. But today also it looked like he’ll get a good innings but that’s okay [that he didn’t get a big score].”
“On a [given] day, there are a lot of batters I have seen, they don’t get that momentum what they are looking for, and that can happen,” Kotak said.
“You might see completely different innings from Rohit Sharma in Lord’s. I wouldn’t use the word struggling, but maybe the shots he normally plays on the up, which is because of the double bounce, probably he felt it was not comfortable.
“Shubman got a quick start, then Virat got a quick start, but he probably didn’t get balls in his slot.
“You could definitely see a completely different innings from a player like Rohit, and I have seen that happening to a lot of batters. So, it’s not just Rohit. I wouldn’t use the word he was struggling.”
Rohit has scored only 11 runs in the first One day against England and played 21 balls. He was struggling a bit in the first ODI game.
Rohit scored 26 runs and played 47 balls with a strike rate of 55.32. He was again struggling against England bowlers and lost his wicket.
India won the first game with the partnership of Axar Patel and Washington Sundar. Shubman Gill has played a captain knock of 80 runs in the first game and set a platform.
India lost the second ODI and England has made a series 1-1. Joe Root has scored 99 runs and helped his team to win by 4 wickets against team India.
Virat Kohli has made a strong comeback and scored 65 runs with a strike rate of 98.48. Shreyas Iyer has continued his outstanding performance and scored 66 runs with a strike rate of 92.96.
Now the 3rd and final ODI will be played at Lords. Team who wins the final game will also win the series as well.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both looked in tension in the second ODI game.
Fans are excited as well as nervous after hearing news of retirement of Rohit Sharma. Rohit has given his all and he is willing to play for team India.
Rohit is having an enormous amount of experience and an ability to score big runs under tough condition.
2027 ODI World Cup will be held in South Africa where there will be a tough condition for team India players. So, we need experience players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Nitish Kumar Reddy is injured same as Hardik Pandya is also not available. Team India needs to make a strong squad to win the 2027 ODI World Cup.
