Here is the short story, precap of Awarapan.
The lead actor Emraan Hashmi named Shivam Pandit in Awarapan. He has been shown as a gangster working for his boss Bharat Malik in Hong Kong.
He has been treated by him like a son and trusted like a family member. In past Shivam Pandit loved Aliyah, but her father disapproved their relationship because Shivam was a Criminal.
Later in a heartbreaking encounter Aliyah accidentally shot and killed. This tragic event left Shivam broken, regretful and guilt-ridden.
A young women named Reema, Malik’s mistress. As a result, Malik ordered Shivam to keep watch over Reema. She has been in control of Malik.
Reema secretly loves Bilal and always wanted to escape Malik’s control. When Malik gets to know about the betrayal, he ordered Shivam to kill her; however, he sees her as a reflection of Aliyah.
Shivam refuses to kill her and helped her escape from the captivity of Malik. On the other hand, He fights against Malik’s men and helps Reema and Bilal get escaped from Malik and find their freedom and love.
In the climax, Shivam sacrifices his own life by saving Reema and found peace and redemption.
