Pakistan will play against Sri Lanka and India will play against West Indies. All these 4 teams have a chance of qualification. Pakistan has to win against Sri Lanka with a condition. Pakistan has to win with a margin of 64 runs or more or else they have to chase down with 40 or more deliveries left. While India needs to win against West Indies to get qualification spot.
New Zealand lost their match against England and that helps team Pakistan to get one more chance of qualification while New Zealand can only be qualified if Pakistan fails to get qualification. If New Zealand have won the match against England, then Pakistan would have been disqualified.
Chance of Team India to qualify for T20 World Cup 2026:
India has lost its first match against South Africa. India won the second match against Zimbabwe with a good margin. Now India needs to win the match against West Indies to get qualify. If India lose the match, then West Indies will get qualify for Semi Final spot.
India versus West Indies match is a knockout match and whosoever win the match will get the semifinal spot in T20 World Cup 2026.
India needs to play aggressive and needs to get a good start from the openers. India vs West Indies match will be played at Kolkata and India looks strong to win this match. West Indies has power to beat any team so India cannot take this team lightly.
Chance of Team Pakistan to qualify for T20 World Cup 2026:
Pakistan not only has to beat Sri Lanka but also need to win with a margin of 64 runs or more if they elected to bat first. Pakistan if batted second then need to chase down score with a remaining of 40 or more balls.
Sri Lanka has no chance of qualification as they already out of this tournament. Pakistan has to play this match as a knockout match as if they lose, then they will be out of the tournament. Pakistan has to chase down total with 40 or more deliveries left that means they need play aggressively.
Toss will be crucial for team Pakistan as they have to win this game but with subject to condition. Pakistan has to bowl well and bat well to get the ticket of Semi Final.
Chance of Team West Indies to qualify for T20 World Cup 2026:
West Indies has a great chance to get qualify only they need to win against match of India and they will qualify. West Indies has to win against team India or else they will be out of this tournament.
West Indies players are in a good form, and they can do upset with their powerpack performance. India has to play smartly, or else India will out of this tournament.
Chance of Team New Zealand to qualify for T20 World Cup 2026:
New Zealand has qualified if they have won the match against England. New Zealand lost their match against England and now they have to wait for the result of match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. If Pakistan win the game with the condition, then New Zealand will be out of this tournament. If Pakistan lose their match against team Sri Lanka, then New Zealand will qualify for the Semi Final.
2 teams namely South Africa and England have already qualified for the World Cup and remaining 2 teams will be decided in the match against India vs West Indies and Pakistan vs Sri lanka.
Team Australia has already out of this tournament and the biggest setback of T20 World Cup 2026 that Australia has not even qualified for Super 8.
South Africa lost the final against team India under the leadership of Rohit Sharma in the T20 World Cup 2024 and this time they are ready to win this title. They have been playing exceptionally well throughout the tournament. Team England also looks strong on table to get this title.
