Rajasthan Royals Coach for 2026:
Kumar Sangakkara finalized as a head coach for The IPL 2026. Sangakkara will coach the side in IPL 2026 as Raul Dravid parted ways with the franchise after the 2025 season.
Sanju Samson and Rahul Dravid both have parted ways while Riyan named as Captain and Sangakkara appointed as a Coach for IPL 2026.
List of Captains of RR:
Parag will be seventh full-time captain of Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Before him:
- Shane Warne
- Shane Watson
- Rahul Dravid
- Ajinkya Rahane
- Steve Smith and
- Sanju Samson have captained the Men in Pink on a full-time basis in the cash-rich league.
Parag was preferred over the likes of Ravindra, Yashasvi and Sam Curran. Jadeja, who joined RR in a trade deal last year, whereas Jaiswal, who is RR’s most expensive player, has publicly expressed his desire to captain the team on multiple occasions in the past.
All the very best to Riyan Parag for his new Role as a Captain and Kumar Sangakkara as a Head Coach of Rajasthan Royals.
