In this article, today we check out details like Captains of all the teams, Head Coaches of all the teams, Venues for the IPL 2026 and which team looks stronger amongst all in IPL 2026 to win the title.
IPL 2026 begins on 28th March and ended on May 31. Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the last IPL 2025. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings both teams have won 5 IPL trophies each. Punjab Kings have not won any trophy in IPL.
List of Captains of all teams:
(1) Hardik Pandya Captain of Mumbai Indians:
Hardik Pandya is the captain of team Mumbai Indians. MI has won 5 IPL trophies under Captainship of Rohit Shrama. MI has selected Hardik Pandya as the Captain of MI which was not accepted by fans and MI has not performed well in the last season.
Hardik Pandya has won one IPL trophy as a Captain for Gujarat Titans. Mumbai Indians looks strong team as they are having players like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma, Quinton De Kock, Jasprit Bumrah.
(2) Ruturaj Gaikwad Captain of Chennai Super Kings:
Ruturaj Gaikwad is the Captain of CSK. Chennai Super Kings has won 5 IPL trophies under Captainship of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. CSK looks strong team with an experience player like MSD, Ruturaj, Shivam Dube and Sanju Samson.
Inclusion of Sanju Samson makes CSK a strong team.
(3) Rajat Patidar Captain of RCB:
Royal Challengers Bengaluru has won the trophy last year under the captainship of Rajat Patidar. Virat Kohli has won the first IPL trophy after 18 years. RCB team looks strong with players like Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Salt, Hazlewood.
This time RCB has no pressure of winning title as they already won the last year. So, this year RCB will play without any pressure which can be a biggest positive for the team.
(4) Shreyas Iyer Captain of Punjab Kings:
Shreyas Iyer has done his level best in last season, but Punjab Kings has not able to win the title last year. This year Punjab Kings is ready to win the title with players like Shreyas Iyer, Marco Jansen, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal.
(5) Axar Patel Captain of Delhi Capitals:
Axar Patel has taken stupendous catches in T20 World Cup and helped team India to win the title of T20 World Cup and now Axar Patel is ready to win the title for Delhi Capitals with a player like Axar Patel, Nitish Rana, David Miller, Pathum Nissanka, Prithvi Shaw, KL Rahul, Starc and Ngidi.
(6) Shubman Gill Captain of Gujarat Titans:
Shubman Gill Captain of Team India is all set to lead Gujarat Titans. Shubman Gill is having vast amount of experience of leading a team and a great chance to win the title as GT having players like Sai Sudarshan, Rashid Khan, Jos Buttler, Jason Holder, Glenn Phillips, Siraj.
(7) Ajinkya Rahane Captain of Kolkata Knight Riders:
KKR is all set for another title under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane an experience batsman. KKR looks strong team with player like Rovman Powell, Rinku Singh, Finn Allen, Rachin Ravindra, Cameron Green, Sunil Narine and Varun.
(8) Ishan Kishan Captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad:
Ishan Kishan is all set to lead SRH in the absence of Pat Cummins who will take in charge of Captainship once he will be available. SRH looks stronger team with player like Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Klaasen, Ishan Kishan. SRH team known for their aggressive batting style.
(9) Riyan Parag Captain of Rajasthan Royals:
Sanju Samson traded to CSK and Riyan Parag will lead RR team. Rajasthan Royals team look quite strong with player like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja, Dasun Shanaka, Jofra Archer, Sandeep Sharma, and Ravi Bishnoi.

Rishabh Pant is all set to lead LSG. Team Lucknow has star players like Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, Josh Inglis, Shami and Nortje.
Head Coaches of IPL Teams:
(1) Mumbai Indians- Mahela Jayawardene
Mahela Jayawardene has been retained by Mumbai Indians. Sri Lankan former batsman and Captain is having enough amount of experience.
(2) Chennai Super Kings- Stephen Fleming
Stephen Fleming has won many IPL trophies as a Coach for CSK.
(3) Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Andy Flower
RCB has won the title under the coaching of Andy Flower and will continue to coach for this year as well.
(4) Delhi Capitals- Hemang Badani
Hemang Badani leads Delhi Capitals as a Head Coach.
(5) Rajasthan Royals- Kumar Sangakkara
Kumar Sangakkara has been recalled for the position of head coach for team RR. Kumar is having tons of experience of coaching.
(6) Punjab Kings- Ricky Ponting
Australian former Captain is all set to lead Punjab Kings as a head coach for this season.
(7) Gujarat Titans- Ashish Nehra
Ashish Nehra a former Indian Bowler has shown his skills and abilities in last few seasons as a head coach.
(8) Kolkata Knight Riders- Abhishek Nayar

(9) Sunrisers Hyderabad- Daniel Vettori
Daniel Vettori former Captain of New Zealand is all set for leading SRH as a Head Coach.
(10) Lucknow Super Giants: Justin Langer
Justin Langer will continue to lead as a head coach for team LSG in this season. He is having an enormous experience of coaching.

- Mumbai Indians: MI looks quite strong team as MI has won 5 IPL trophies and having players like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Surya Kumar Yadav who have enormous amount of experience of playing this format for years.
- Chennai Super Kings: CSK has won 5 IPL trophies and CSK is having Mahendra Singh Dhoni who have highest amount of experience of this format and inclusion of in form batsman Sanju Samson makes this team more stronger.
- RCB: Team RCB has won the last season and removed the jinx of not winning IPL trophy. RCB is all set to continue its winning streak in this Season as well.
